This is a trial website for Photographer, Journalist, Interior Architect Pinar Ustun.
Pinar Ustun was born in Istanbul, Turkey in 1974. She moved to New York in 1992 to study Design and Environmental Analysis at Cornell University. She graduated with Bachelor of Science Degree in January 1996 and moved to NYC, to start working at the prestigious architecture and design firm Gensler.
In 1999, she moved back to Istanbul.
After working for various firms as New Business Development Manager, in 2001, she moved to Paris to pursue her passion of photography. She completed a one-year program in Speos Photographic Institute and started to work as a freelance photographer in 2002.
Since then, her work has been published in various magazines in Europe. She has also joined group of photographers in exhibitons in France and Turkey.
Currently living in Paris, she continues her passion in photography and works as a consultant for interior design.
In 2005 she has been in three group exhibitions.
The first exhibition was in Istanbul at the Darphane-i Amire Museum in May. The Organization 'For Women By Women' gathered 111 Turkish women photographers all around the world to auction their work for the women's organization in Turkey. Visit website for more info:

The second exhibition was in NYC in November for Save Venice Organization. The exhibition was at the infamous Salander O'Reilly Gallery in Manhattan. Visit www.salander.com for more info about this exhibition. Her photograph received interest from various collectors in NY and London.
The third exhibition was in Istanbul in November for raising awareness for domestic violence in Turkey. The exhibition was cohosted by the United Nation Population Fund.
Pinar Ustun was recently invited to exhibit her work in Miami Art Basel which will take place in December 1-5th in Miami.
